Alumni of the Week “Abhinav Goyal”

Abhinav Goyal was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. He earned his first degree black belt in 2007, and 4 years later received his second degree black belt. In 2008, Abhinav was awarded the Dojo Spirit Award that he was honored to share with Sensei Tyler Miyasaki.

Throughout his time at the dojo Abhinav learned a multitude of lifelong skills such as, dedication, discipline, respect, and that 50 push-ups are possible to do. He had a chance to apply many of these skills when he went to compete in the Wado Ryu World Championships in Tokyo, Japan in 2009.

Abhinav received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Masters degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing a career as a Stand Up Comedian.
