Jason began his training under Sensei Rick Savagian in 1985 and earned his black belt in 1991. He has fond memories of his time there and remembers it being like a family to him.
Currently, Jason works for a medical device company. He oversees the state of Hawaii for Arthrex/SportsTek Medical, which specializes in sports medicine orthopedics. He loves being married to Tamra and enjoys his two kids and three grandkids. He loves spending his time staying active and visiting family.
Jason is thankful for the time he spent at Mountainside Martial Arts Center and recognizes the value of karate and how it has impacted his life beyond the sport. Specifically, Jason says, "it has had a lasting impact on my life even today, with discipline and focus."
